(6) Battery self-discharge is controllable. When the system is in shutdown mode, the electrolyte in the tank will not self-discharge.
(7) Convenient to manufacture and install. The wave battery has great freedom in location selection, the system can be fully automatically closed and operates without pollution, is easy to maintain, and has low operating costs.
(8) Battery materials are easy to recycle and reuse. Most of the flow battery components are cheap carbon materials and engineering plastics. The materials are rich in sources and will not produce pollution during the recycling process. They are environmentally friendly and low-priced. In addition, real-time monitoring of the battery system's state of charge (SOC) is relatively easy, which is beneficial to the management and dispatch of the power grid.
